THE NIGHT RAINBOW

Amani is a university student who loves writing. I have been writing since I was twelve. I love writing.

I had a dream so clear ,felt so real, so good, it felt too perfect.
The silence was depressing, biting my ears.
The streets were filled with strangers, just like the usual
The moon was still struggling to bite through, the black clouds were heavier than usual and darker than usual..
I wasn't worried, and that's not me. I literally freak out when my heart beats a Lil bit faster.. ..
.. This was a happy place for the very first time. A perfect heaven.....
... Even with the dim moonlight I could see and smell people's happiness, a sense of relief in the laughs and smiles ..
.. Mothers weren't worried about kidnappers, girls weren't worried of the scary men, young men weren't worried, no body was worried...
......
At least no sirens tonight.
.....
And slowly the clouds parted giving room for the moon to share it's bliss. A little less light it gave.. Not the usual full light we were used to, just enough to enable us to see whose in front of you... Make sure you don't trip on a ditch.
.....
Then a lot of stars were now coming to vision, shining dimly. Giving a smack instead of a full smile. Then the owls got to the normal noises louder than hooting monkeys. Thats when I opened the windows at the fire place to see the view better...
....
.. And there was a smile in the sky, showing me the beauty of the night. A smile as beautiful as the rainbow.... Out at night for everyone to see....
..... It was just a normal day... As abnormal as all the others.... Different but the same as all the others....
It was a night with a rainbow. A rainbow in the night.. .
...
....
