A Sunset to Love

Sunset Revival

Every day ends with a sunset

The peaceful reset

Of the day and its many moments

Maybe they're dreadful; or, of fulfillment

In the end, we admire beautiful views

Streaks of purple, pink, and orange hues

We look up in utter awe

In that moment we forget it all

We become present

The sky increasingly iridescent

Finally, we breathe

A fresh release that came with ease

As the sun and moon begin their transition

Your day and life move forward in unison

With new energy and fire

The sunset is a current and you're a live wire

Carry on.

You've created a lovely description of the sunset and its meaning. The setting sun is a wonderful sight on a clear day. I love the thought that the sunset is a current and the viewer is a live wire!
