Split at Birth...Magnetic Connection Drew Us Together...In Death Still One
Suicide Stole You From Me
The one thing in my life,
Only time I can not cry.
Grief runs too deep,
My cheeks still dry.
That moment in my life,
Only time just blank.
Touch my stomach,
Immediately heart sank.
My gut did twist...turn,
inner turmoil winding down.
When memory overloads,
Images make me drown.
He was light for me,
Lit up my darkest past.
Casted glow of life ahead,
Gone... it never does last.
I had let only in him,
For once walls gone.
Never did I believe,
Giving all my love was wrong.
This moment I sit again,
Thinking would I change the pain.
That minute I gave my love,
Worth an eternity in darkest rain.

I can’t access it on Letterpile either lol. I have to log in here, go to my articles and click on “read on hubpages” then scroll down to find your comment to approve it lol. Took me an hour to figure out how to approve and read the last comment!!!
I am happy that you could feel what I was trying to convey. I don’t believe I really knew what I felt until I wrote this. I love when readers can relate. Your comment made my morning:-)

I cannot access the comment section on LetterPile so I hope you get this.
This poem is so sad.
I can feel the deep pain you feel inside.
I am familiar with that blank feeling...like you are numb..it's like you feel nothing.
Take care of yourself.
This is a great write.

Suicide is tragic and I’ve lost two to suicide in my life. This year I lost 2 teenagers I took in and treated as mine who died of an overdose; to me it’s a form of suicide however unintentional it was.
I hope that more awareness helps others understand so we can stop losing loved ones. It’s its own epidemic in my opinion.
Thank you for your comment.

I can feel the pain in the lines of this poem, full of loss. It is such a tragedy when suicide happens, as in many cases we just don't know the answers to why it happened.
I spend one evening a week on a suicide unit for young people at risk. It is heartbreaking, however, there is also the opportunity for me to help these vulnerable people and that is what counts. Thank you for sharing these painful thoughts and drawing awareness to the tragedy of suicide. I am sorry for your sad loss.
