To Respond And Rejoice
Not in accomplishment
Rather in Amazement
That we can't figure it out
That all around us
Whips with the wind
At a speed, we do not comprehend
Challenging and filled with possibilities
We are ready
Stepping back to see the full scope
Finding the energy and the knowledge
To feel insignificant
Though we know
We are Magnificient
Tired not by effort
Problems in the head
I reach out and see the fake flowers
Pretty as can be
Always nice and always beautiful
Even though they are fake
They are a deception to our eyes
To persist and find ways to resist
Listening to the words that are silent
Captivating and all-encompassing
Not fixed on one
Flowing with all

BRENDA ARLEDGE I don't mind paying the bill. Your encouragement and thoughts also push me to do more. There are so many people in this wonderful world that help other people in ways they could not imagine. Your one of those people. There are ways to thank you in words that don't seem to be enough. I see wonderful things possible every day. Some people are able to make it happen. I am more dreamer and planner than a doer. I can get so far but then I drop the ball. I have a list of excuses that are real. Out of time. Out of room. Not the right approach. So my dead ends are not just hair on my head but real challenges day after day. My job so different than writing poems keeps me hoping. Then my lovely wife and our fresh cat Charlotte keep me grounded. There is still part of me that wants to climb the biggest mountain. I am not a hiker or even have a clue where to start. So I dive into more books and see how other people make their dreams a reality. Once again pressed for time. This is not enough. So I am lucky mountains don't move. They are still there to remind me it can be done. Not just today but one day you will see a flag not to brag but to say I seen it through to the end. I am here and if I can do it so can you. Then I look over to my left and see many flags people once again have beat me to it. I never seen that coming. Surprise! Surprise! I am not the first but the last one. I don't care I made it. Thank you for all you do. Now to put a smile on your face that is a little more difficult. I lined my words with laughing gas so within seconds you won't be able to not smile. It will only last about an hour and then it wears off. Unless you keep going back to read this then it could last forever. A quick fix to a lifelong dream. Have a sweet day. Add some flowers to your shopping basket. They always brighten my mood. They remind me of the beauty in life and nature. We are all connected. We just don't see it. Add it to my bill. You went skimpy on lunch and the food you bought was only enough for a quick snack. i would be starving if that is all I ate. Think Big. Dreams don't have to all wait.

Thanks for the lunch, where should I send the bill?
I'm glad to know I bring a smile to your face when you think it is misplaced.
So glad to hear you are finding new dreams.
I can only feel your words because I often have the same thoughts and feelings.
Now if only...someone can put a smile back on my face.
Reading everyone's work though...really helps.
Thanks for being a friend.
May life start going easier for both of us.

BRENDA ARLEDGE I like the way you can translate what I am thinking and explain my thoughts even better. I want to do so many things and each one takes time. People can be misleading and also very critical of other people. I try to see the best in everyone and sometimes they lead us down the wrong path. I try to stay away from bad people and sometimes they look good but they are dressed to deceive. I have been fooled more than once. It is o.k. I have learned to take it on the chin. Thank you for always sharing and caring. You can bring a smile to my face when I thought it was misplaced. Now happy and finding new dreams. Have a wonderful day and don't forget to give yourself the credit you deserve. Treat yourself a nice lunch. On me. Thank you so much.

Gypsy Rose Lee I not only love your enthusiasm but your continued fortitude to make things happen. I really enjoy all your poems and stories. I will check it out. I am still busy but I know that won't stop me. We all have a fair share of disappointments and setbacks but with that, we also get the greatest gift of all learning to be humble. So when good things come and they will we will always remember where we came from and try to help other people less fortunate than us. Thank you so much for all your comments and support. Keep up the great work. Let the money roll on in. Have a beautiful and inspiring day.

It is often hard for us to see what's right in front of our eyes.
So many times things or people tend to be fake.. too good to be true.
We are magnificent, but we are left feeling insignificant.

My writing work is up and it is down but I preserve and continue to look for writing jobs and to write for sites like Vocal Media and Medium. And you know what? I can tell I am improving because I was on Vocal for around two or so years just popping in articles now and then and finally I accepted Vocal premium so I can also enter Chakllenges to try for big bucks. And I got to cash out mone a little over $20 that took me close to two years to accumulate from people reading and tipping me now I started a new and I keep posting several times a week and in a couple of weeks I am already at $6 before I know it another $20 will be available for cash out and I am on the way. I put my darling Sid in a challenge about adopted cats. I do not know yet if he will win any money for me in spirit but here is the link I think you will love what I wrote. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
