Stormy Clouds with a Hint of Light
The view of dark clouds
The intensity, is it menacing
Or simply drawing me in
To its smoky mystery
As I’m alerted by this evening wind
A slight chill in air but not yet cold
The deep sky does move me
But it does not frighten me ...
As among it there is a view of light
Soft yellow and muted though bright
A warm light blanket of comfort
The towering beauty of the sky in contrast
As we approach another season
Tonight the two merge together
And it’s complex aura starts to feel to me
Like a captivating view
Where hopes and adventures can renew

Clouds beautifully decorate the sky, especially during monsoon. Amazing poem. Enjoyed a lot.

When I read your title, it reminded me of the pandemic situation that we are all in at the moment.
When I read your poem, the carefully chosen words painted a mind's eye picture of the scene. Cloud formations at different times of the day are fascinating. No two scenes are identical.
