Stand Your Ground When the Storm's a Blowin'

When a storm’s a blowin’
Stand your ground
When the wild fire’s burin’
Stand your ground
When the mountain starts crumblin’
When the wave starts crashin’
When the sky starts fallin’
Stand your ground
And never back down.
***
They’ll come a crashin’
Stand your gound
They’ll come a tearin’
Stand your ground
They’ll come a ragin’
They’ll come a screamin’
They’ll come a cursin’
Stand your ground
And never back down.
They can’t take your convention
Or your intentions
They can’t rob you of liberty’s way
And proclaim the darkest day
***
Their talk is talk
Empty and useless
But your voice
The truest of all
Will prevail
But you must stand
And stand firm and tall.
***
Let the storm a blowin’
Let the wild fire’s a burnin’
Let the mountain a crumblin’
They can’t beat you
***
Let them ragin’
Let them screamin’
Let them cursin’
****
It won’t matter
Stand your ground
And never back down.
