Squirrels: Nature's Mystery

Do not be fooled. Just because you see only one side of anything, do not forget there is always another side to it. Between publishing hubs,

You are such a petite, pretty collection of teeth
Jumping tree-to-tree sending vexation to me.
Nuts to you, little squirrel--may you eat well
How do you survive? Only a mystery will tell.

Squirrels: cute, daring, and easy to love
Only living in and on the air
Seldom do your little paws rest above
Should I pet you as a cat, or should I dare?

Squirrels: you are so tame and yet so wild
Never worry, never grieve, just doing Nature's call.
Even if you grew anger, it would be so mild.
Squirrels: I love you and wish that I were a child.

Nice poetry.

Squirrels are amazing too watch.

I wonder if they worry like us humans do.

Thanks for sharing.

Squirrels are my spirit animal! I have loved them my whole life and in fact, when I'm out on a run and see a squirrel, it's good juju that I'm going to have a fantastic run! Great little poem!
