Spring Weather In January

spring-weather-in-january

Gloves, scarfs, boots and winter coat

Many prepared for temperatures to freeze

Yet Instead of snow and ice

Thete is a warm gentle breeze

The sun is shining warmly

The birds are merrily singing

Its 60 degrees in January

In my heart joy is ringing

I prayed for the homeless, the elderly

And all those without adequate heat

I fall to my knees and give thanks

As weathermen shake their heads and wonder

It’s His grace and mercy

And not mother nature’s blunder

The Facebook crowd makes jokes and say

something is wrong within the atmosphere

I know my Heavenly Father is kind and

compassionate with a listening ear

BRENDA ARLEDGE from Washington Court House on January 12, 2020:

I, too, am enjoying this lovely weather. Although it was 68 with rain and a few tornadoes ...it is unbelievable.

Whatever the reason I will gladly take this weather over the bitter cold snow.

I too prayed because I didnt want to shovel my driveway and steps...a fate I must do this year.

God has been gracious.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Cheryl, for healing us to refocus. God has never given up His control of the weather.

You are farther north than where was born and raised, Cheryl, Louisiana and Texas respectively, so I laughed as I understood your sentiments. In Louisiana only remember one snow, I was almost or 2, although I was 8 before leaving for Fort Worth, Texas where we often got it but it was minimum and short lived. Since being the Nomad, per John 3:8, I've experienced many snows around Christmas and New Year so I know what you mean. That was a magnificent presentation of it, thanks for sharing it.
