Charmaine loves to create and explore the role of intuition in her life and in her freelance works of poetry and writing.

Soft Milky White Lilac....

Soft milky white lilac rushes of jacaranda trees,

gracefully carpeting fescues and pencil thin reads.

White lush erotic Magnolias,

splash their pulsating perfumes, to turn one’s head

The West Wind of Savannah....

The west wind of savannah, strikes three.

Whistling blues tunes, which is the voice of her Muse,

amongst the humid dust-filled air

to message, be the Spirit on the move

Willow's arms gracefully sweeps...

Willow’s arms gracefully sweeps the still river

like the tick tock rhythm of grandfather’s stand tall clock.

Star crossed fleur-de-lis flowers,

poppy stand, willow’s green shore banks

Summer Days Makes Me Feel....

Summer days makes me feel lazy and swanky.

Sleepiness seeking me out, at every turn.

Junoesque artic winds, uproot the flaccid stagnation,

shaking away Sisyphus’s glistening teardrops of sweat.

Flurries of Pink Flamingos.....

Flurries of pink flamingos,

Stand four, amongst its native hoopoe,

signalling it’s time to listen

to the call of the East Wind.

Let Us Learn and Grow....

Let us learn and grow.

That, all that, is defined good and whole,

together with what provides for us,

still can come from the galaxy of Earth’s green fields.

Poetry is still not such a popular thing. And that's okay.

I've always enjoyed poetry. I sometimes wonder why more people don't. :o
