Speed of Light

Man, listen.

I don’t need drugs

And I don’t need pills.

All I need is Jesus

At the wheel.

Here are some facts:

These people are trying so hard

To stay intact.

It’s like they need practice

To know what to do.

They want to attract.

Have people breaking

Down their door at

The speed of light

To get that fat contract.

Everyone wants to have a

Strong work ethic, but get

They’re breaking my back.

I need chiropractic.

Everyone has turned from wanting

Good to bad.

We need aromatic,

Not retractive.

True love is dying,

A heart is met with

They want to end it all,

Tie themselves down and

Have a train run them down

On the tracks.

I ask them where their morals went

They said, “to racks”.

Wanting to secure a bag so bad,

They think they deserve a plaque.

They want “ice”

Not knowing that all ice melts,

Be proactive.

Won’t respond to my texts but,

On your apps, it says “active”.

They’re not concerned about Christ,

They’re concerned about

Would rather hear about

The impacts of

Their quote or pic.

Everyone wants to

Experience life fast.

It’s a commonality

I’m tired of the same things.

I just want originality.

We’re not meant to have the same

That’s why we should be defined by

I don’t need companionship,

I need vitality.

No one can separate me from Christ,

That’s actuality.

Challenge my faith and I’ll break you

Down like Mortal Kombat

Sub Zero defeats Lio Kang.

Blink, then fatality.

This ain’t virtual reality.

They say “You only live once”

But, that’s criminality.

You live twice.

What does that mean?

Use logicality.

That’s enough talking.

I’ve brought ample reality.
