Sorrow In Disguise

Tonight it's hard for me to sleep

Every single time I'm reminded by your presence

I could have done better

You would have not felt the worse

Sad truth.. I lost you

It gets harder each day to not remember you

Everytime I look into the corner where you stayed

Reminds me of how blesed I am to have you

I wish I can still hold your paws

Touch your fur countless times

Hug you tight

Play dead

Play catch

Play match

It lasts forever

Our memories are kept in my heart

Remember that

I might feel the pain right now

Haunted by the sorrow

Still, I am grateful I met you

There is no pain in where you are

And I hope for your great happiness

Now, I'm raising the white flag

Surrendering you fully to God

I will love you forever

Forever in my heart.

@John It saddens me knowing that we all are at some point felt our deepest sorrow in losing our pets. I appreciate you've read my fruit of despair, Sir. God bless you.
