Some Haiku for You

South Texas is in a post Apocalyptic heat wave, perfect for Haiku Dreaming

Some Haiku for You

A Bluebird brushes
Upon a Dogwood blossom
A green lizard flees

Evan's garden grew
One habanero glistened
Through hundreds of cooler leaves

Lizard's red throat swells
Green legs do morning push ups
In the salt air dew

Four Scrub Oaks shade me
Through hot Mexican breezes
Grackles and gulls call

Alone in the bay
Society of dolphins
Play in the pink dawn

In waters like glass
Speckled trouts swim silently
As city lights dim
