Soft Whispers

Nithya Venkat enjoys writing about nature and different aspects of life in the form of poetic verses.

One With Nature

One With Nature

Soft whispers

Of autumn leaves

Carried away by the wind

Leaving behind trails

Of windswept colors

Soft whispers

Of silver streams

Sliding down rocks

Playing with pebbles

Drumming beats

To the rhythm

Of my heartbeat

Soft whispers

Of swaying branches

Welcoming birds

If you listen

You can hear

The sweet birdsong

Soft whispers

I can hear your voice

Echo in the hills and valleys

One with nature

At peace

This piece paints a very serene image in my mind, makes me yearn for the government to open the trails for us hikers and artists who live to be one with nature!

Absolutely lovely! Stay safe!
