Small Pockets of Happiness
Harrowing through the day
Man drives dead beat
Paying bills and buying food
Competing and rushing through.
But life is full of adventures
The mundane nibblets of habit
And the hobbies to which we surrender.
Hike through the woods
And smell the fragrance,
The wild aroma of green
The lofty blue hills
The rustling breeze of trees
Soothing souls and cleaning weeds.
Purple pink passion peace
Flowers and bushes of a pleasant greet
A torrent of cheerful oxygen
Fills the heart with ease.
A multitude of beliefs
In people from round the world
They fight to break through stifles
While welcoming short reliefs.
The stress and humdrum
Brows thickened by mire
Man returns home with a smile
The hope of familiar quirks
And some gardening time.
The little needs and trifles
Are greater than sweaty grounds
The magic of life
Lies beyond all worries and drowns.
