Seasons of Me , You and Us

No matter how hard the times, I’ll be yours and you’ll be mine.

They say that love is blind, but then rang the fervorous February chimes,

We met and knew we were each other’s kind, mellow march helped us combine.

Tears of sorrow turned to tears of delight, alluring April never made us fight,

Time stopped by as we held each other tight.

No matter how hard the times, I’ll be yours and you’ll be mine

Fights happened which loosened the bind, morbid may wasn’t so kind.

The beauty started to fade as our egos collide, junky June told us we held monsters inside,

Arguments made a pitfall full of dynamite.

Scratches were made as we tamed our fears, jittery July didn’t let us be near,

Problems took the flings timeline.

Then came the month of rainy days, affectionate august always had the saving grace,

Made us realize that our love was way worthier than a dime,

No matter how hard the times, I’ll be yours and you’ll be mine.

I smelled your neck and held your waist, I kissed your lips we unbuttoned in haste,

Symphonized September breezed just fine, as we held the glasses of our wine.

Things started to work out and problems were few, optimist October was beautiful with its morning dew,

Mind full of lovely thoughts as my chair reclined,

No matter how hard the times, I’ll be yours and you’ll be mine.

The trust we built soured like lime, nostalgic November created insecurities in life,

Left out wounds opened with wine.

Disputes on dilemma and apologies grew with time, made me think was loving her a crime?

Dreaded December surged into our relationship which was once divine.

Promises and problems created a smog, looked like a joyless January's morning fog,

Blinded us from seeing our love wasn’t in line,

No matter how hard the times, I’ll be yours and you’ll be mine

A year went by and things were looking grey, came in my favorite February to save the day,

Looked in mirror and saw mischievous Dennis, we sat down together to create our own Venice.

A new branch grew on the same roots with sunshine.

I’ll be forever yours and you’ll be forever mine.
