Scary Tales
I do not want to
join the bandwagon
of those who dread the tale
of love and friends,
I do not want to be one
who sits in solitude
to knit strength into broken tissues
of hurts and wear the fabric of healing alone.
I do not want to be one who sees
friends and love as beautiful
before the world
and then roll back into my cave
after the ovation.
I do not want to be one
