Sankhajit Bhattacharjee Poem 68
Scientific Research Fellow in University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee
A FLASH OF LIGHT
Who can gratify me?
Profession, hobby, books, family, allies...
In vain, I seek far and wide.
I sat down forever with folded knees.
My body, senses, mind and heart
received a pulse of the eternal.
A timeless voice of the Great Soul
can never be futile or die at all.
None has ever created on this little stream
such an arousing and influential wave
as an eternal barrister brought into existence
a flash of light inside this dark grave.
The earth is bound to follow
in midst of all darkness
for utter survival
the ideology of truth and non-violence.
