Sankhajit Bhattacharjee Poem 43

Scientific Research Fellow in University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee

Whatever be one’s wish,

fixed is one’s ambition.

It is to produce, rear and secure

one’s next generation.

Ultimately all wishes get converge

into this accuracy,

otherwise a successful career

seems to sink deep into the sea.

Though it sounds quite irrational-

actually, one continues one’s race

even after one’s expiry

through a biological existence.

BRENDA ARLEDGE from Washington Court House on June 10, 2020:

I suppose we do live our lives hoping the next generation does well.

Our children carry on where we left off...hopefully making better choices.
