Sankhajit Bhattacharjee Poem 38

Scientific Research Fellow in University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee

Both the wise and unwise remain side by side,

when the evil spreads over good far and wide

from the mass a leader emerges.

‘Solve the crisis’, one urges.

The sin is destroyed, and the sinner faces reform.

If not, the sinner is annihilated by the leader’s creative storm.

You, the eternal and sole player of dice,

wise to the wise and unwise to the unwise,

once showed us the way rescuing Ancient India.

My forehead will find place at Your feet, Lord Krishna.
