Sankhajit Bhattacharjee Poem 291

Scientific Research Fellow in University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee

Doctor Vs Doctor

'You have forgotten your oath.

You think about money.

For you this patient died.

You must ask for forgiveness with folded knee'.

'They brought the patient at last stage.

I have nothing to do-

I tried a lot.

Death is nothing new'.

'It occurred because of your negligence.

You must admit your fault.

You are cold blooded...

On the wound you added salt'.

'Why will I listen to you?

Who are you to tell?

How dare you to interfere in my work?

Go to hell'!

'For you like people all are losing faith on us.

Remember, unlike others, this is not a job, it's duty.

In presence of an unwanted weed,

the rose garden is losing beauty'.

'Life is in my fist.

I can do anything.

Oath has nothing to do with my business.

Disease is my feather. Decay is my wing'.
