Sankhajit Bhattacharjee Poem 267

Scientific Research Fellow in University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee

The same fire is used to cook, in marriage ceremony and at pyre.

To the unlearned it may be different.

But how can the pyres for the dead have different existence!

Hinduism is a religion, not science-

we all are Homo sapiens with red blood flowing across veins.

From a bridge a dead body is placed on the river bank with ropes tied.

Hindus are divorced- mutually separated.

What can science do here?

The answer is quite simple- a separate burning ghat.

I think narrow 21st century will cease to enter through the broad gate of coming 22nd!
