Sankhajit Bhattacharjee Poem 260

Scientific Research Fellow in University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee

George Washington Reviewed

When you drove away British from your land, Sir,

had you assured:

equal rights for rich and poor,

equal rights for white and black,

equal rights for man and woman,

equal rights for landlord and landless.

I never know, never wish to know.

I believe in freedom from exploitation

because exploiters never die.
