Sankhajit Bhattacharjee Poem 26

Scientific Research Fellow in University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee

My hope is like a butterfly,

flying in the garden of my heart.

It can wash away all despair-

the dust and dirt.

The butterfly never sleeps,

remains active even at night.

In midst of dark cloud and furious storm

it shines lustrous and bright.

The butterfly is my heart beat,

without which I will stop forever.

I’ll lose my way,

will come back along the right track never.
