THE ROSE GARDEN OF MY HOUSE
Whenever I step inside the rose garden of my house,
a rose, named love-affair, turns into a thorny yellow cactus
as if she is annoyed due to my entrance.
At once I come out of the garden,
from outside I witness her smile under bright sunlight.
I never know-
what crime have I done,
why does she ignore me,
when will she change her mind?
I wait and wait with utter patience
outside the gate to get a positive answer.
Suddenly a dream of dawn wakes me up-
I witness a rose bud coming out from yellow sand
with a smile under bright sunlight.
She utters, “I’m romanticism,
I welcome you, man into my heart.”
