Sankhajit Bhattacharjee Poem 183

Scientific Research Fellow in University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee

I am waiting for you with eager eyes-

please appear before me

as the sun appears in the morning sky.

Shine my life with your rays-

share my grief, share my happiness,

share my way, share my life.

I can’t stay alone; I can’t wait any more-

appear before me and appear before me

with all your glamour, beauty, tranquility and love,

hold me with your soft hands, walk with me...

We all need that special someone to share our lives with. Sometimes they arrive, sometimes it takes time... Hopefully the wait is worth it! Lovely.
