Sankhajit Bhattacharjee Poem 181

Scientific Research Fellow in University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee

Five fingers of our palm

are not same in size and structure,

our natures too.

From good to best, from bad to worst

human nature prevails.

I am like me, you are like you;

I cannot be you, you cannot be me.

Like the five fingers,

all of us have different roles-

good balances the bad, best balances the worst.

Whenever I discover your nature is deviating far from mine

I look at my fingers.
