Sankhajit Bhattacharjee Poem 165

Scientific Research Fellow in University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee

YOU CAN KILL ME, BUT NOT MY...

You can kill me,

but not my innocence.

You can kill me,

but not my honesty and moral courage.

You can kill me,

but not my ideology and ideas.

You can kill me,

but not my shadow.

You can kill me,

but not my conscience.

True, but we don't want to go just yet Bro. You, me, Bill and others, we have a lot to do. Let us fight the good fight! (Chuckle) You expressed your sentiments well. Om Shanti!

Great! We still have control over our minds - for the time being anyway! Determination and individuality come through in this poem.
