Sankhajit Bhattacharjee Poem 133

Scientific Research Fellow in University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee

Where are you hiding my victory?

I fail to find you out.

You are playing hide and seek with me

as the dark floating clouds play with the burning sun.

I can’t see you.

I do believe you are not lost

into the ever darkness of unknown black holes.

You are taking a nap somewhere

or meditating inside a cave.

I have become weary,

now I am taking rest under a banyan.

I believe you will fall from the heaven

like a red apple,

which falls on the ground due to the action of gravity

or you will appear before me

like a beautiful angel in an off-white gown.

I am waiting for you,

come and enlighten me,

fill my heart with heavenly nectar-

I will fly like a bee from flower to flower.
