I have stumbled across a new passion: writing. It is proving to be insightful and rewarding.
Rocks wait upon the shoreline.
Waves lick at them eternally, polishing them to catch your eye.
Come with me we will search for agates.
Let’s walk along the shore as we look down in search of that elusive little stone. Or travel with me to a long ago quarry in the middle of nowhere where we will search among the rubble to find our fill. Our packs are heavy now with treasures of another day’s searching.
Soon the polishing grit will transform these little treasures into beautiful triumphs. Smooth from days of tumbling, they will be transformed from rough to a soothing feel in one’s hand. I can’t wait to see them, can’t wait to feel them in my palm, and carry them in my pockets.
Perhaps they tell a story of when mother earth was young, or in transformation, when she was born, of star dust and gases. Let’s thank mother earth for her abundance and be grateful for her beauty! Thank you.

Brenda and Ruby, Thanks for your comments. My husband & I used to walk along the Lake Superior shoreline and look for agates. There's bunches of rocks up there!

We do live in a wonderful world full of natural beauty. Hopefully our eye's are open as we travel through this life.

I used to love collecting them.
It is a peaceful way to spend one's day.
It's amazing how nature can transform them into beauty.

Venturing out of my comfort zone. Trying different subjects to write about. Thanks, Dora! Set's me thinkin', too. Namaste.

A meaningful adventure. The rocks may even have personal messages and gifts for each of us. You set us thinking.
