Renewal. Welcoming 2020. Friday's Inspiration 1, to Rosina S Khan

Manatita is an esteemed author living in London, UK. He writes spiritual books, flash fiction and esoteric poetry, his favourite genre.

God's Grace is enduring, ever alive. Sometimes, She appears to hide, but is merely waiting for our receptivity, like a bud, to open into a beautiful flower, offering its fragrance to the world. We know that when the dark clouds dissipate, the sun will come out to nourish the Earth … a tree will die, only for the seed to spring forth again, into the hustle and bustle of new life.

The New Year is always like a birthday, the dawning of hope, of a new Consciousness. Love wants to continue to express its myriad plans, in an evolutionary way, thus increasing our joys … increasing its own Delight in this ever-transcending cosmic game.

Let us go forward, with what we have, what we aspire to be, with a new Spirit of renewal, aspiring for the vibrancy, dynamism … the sweetness and joy of tomorrow, in the Sacrament of the Present Moment, the immediacy of the Eternal Now.

Love is a continuum of endless Consciousness.

The pangs and beauty of yesterday’s sunset,

Is the harbinger of this morning’s glorious sunrise.

The grandeur of last evenings ‘meteor’ showers,

Heralds a brighter, even more illustrious dawn.

I am an incomplete fire, perfect, yet seeking more beauty,

In a star which is constantly alight, moving and whirling --

Like a dervish -- to the cadences of Silence. There’s no ‘end’

Game in my vision. I rise and fall, and rise and fall,

Like the resonance of waves, breaking on the ocean’s crest.

Like a Libran pendulum, I swing with the zephyrs, constantly

Moving upwards, each step more grandiose then the last.

Meanwhile, the lips of my Beloved moves, whispering silently

In my Heart, the music of another thousand symphonies.

Proceeding to unfurl its sails, my boat rises gallantly, on

Boisterous waters, with an unspoken stillness within its bed.

The call of immensity beckons, with me reaching for the divinity of peerless stars.

-Manatita, The Lantern Carrier. 31st December, 2019.

Love: An Intricate and Delicate Weave of Light

Love: An Intricate and Delicate Weave of Light

She wrote Her sweet tale with ink, giving shape

To the tablet of my Heart. Like a spider’s web,

Hers’ was an intricate and intimate weave.

Just as flowers bedeck their beauty, in the light

Of spring, so too, like a butterfly, I emerged from my

Cocoon, to the radiance of another glorious dawn.

The crimson moon hugged my sweet cheeks,

As I saw Lovers sitting around a fireside smoking.

The fragrance drifting from their hookahs, was so enthralling,

My Heart turned into a sacred palm, to catch this wondrous scent.

I gazed at a magnificent Cauldron, burning the night,

With a meteor of a thousand showers. Glowing

With grandeur in my core, She kissed my soul with candles,

Each burning brightly, cascading the resplendence of a million flares.

-Manatita, The Lantern Carrier. 29th December, 2019.

"On the eve of the New Year, a new consciousness dawns on earth. God once again inspires each human being, each creature, with new hope, new light, new peace and new joy." - Sri Chinmoy

"When the New Year dawns, we have to make ourselves conscious of the fact that we have to transcend ourselves this year...God always wants us to move ahead; He does not want us to look back...if we look forward, we will see hope dawning deep within us. Every day in this New Year is equally important." -Sri Chinmoy

    Chitrangada ji.

An extremely beautiful sentiment from you. Yes, Guruji used to say, always remember this mantra: 'Never give up! Thank you so much!

Another day for love indeed! I need you and God needs you to do justice to my writings. You summarise it so magnificently! Don't flatter me too much though, I'm only a struggling seeker.

Yes Rosina is lovely. Love to the family.

What a wonderful poem, with such deep thoughts, to start the new year, with renewed energy and faith.

Yes, it’s the faith and hope, which keeps us going. From one year, moving on to another, hoping for new opportunities and new possibilities.

A wonderful tribute to a fellow writer, Rosina.

Loved your poem and the quotes.

To answer your question, Renewal, to me is, pulling up myself once again, even if, I have failed many times earlier.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful hub.

Amazing! This is my next "Quote of the Day" in my classroom! It is time for my students to remember Manatita.

I am too small to speak about those two poems! I only can express my gratitude!

I am happy because this exact New Year has one more day for Love!

PS: Thank you for introducing me Rosina S Khan.

    Ah, Verlie.

I seemed to say only recently that I feel you are a seeker, I mean a conscious seeker. Looks like I am right.

Yes, I wrote this piece for the new year. There's a lot of hope, promise, newness and growth in it … a discarding of the old and entering into daybreak. You seem to see this. Awesome!

Manatita, What a wonderful sense of release and renewal in your 'Renewal' poem, in the whirling of the dance, and the unfurling of the sails of one's boat, and the image of the butterfly emerging, all add to the heightened sense of being fully engaged in a spiritual journey.

Yes, this is the Language of the mystics, Rosina. You should read more of my mystical poems. A very deep piece, that. So you have chosen well.

Thank you for visiting so early. What is auspicious? Is it personal or religious? Guru Gobind Singh's was yesterday. What's your Faith?

If I had to guess, I would say that you are in a very devotional space. Remembering Allah and bringing the family together. Alhamdullulah!.

This was an exceptional surprise for me, Manatita. The way you write hubs effortlessly along with poems, images, quotes, and text and dedicate them to someone you choose is simply remarkable. Today is a Friday and an auspicious day for us and a hub coming from you like this on this day adds to my happiness.

So the hub is about God's creations and nature's beauty and our renewal with a Happy New Year. Beautifully written, Mr. Talented Writer!!

I especially like the quote, " The rose speaks of love silently, in a language known only to the heart".
