Regret, Word Prompt of Brenda Arledge

Author:

Attempt to write a small poem for the Word Prompt Regret. This prompt was given by Brenda Arledge.

Regret

Regret

Regret, a few.

Some old, some new.

Some I rectified,

Others I let slide.

Did I learn and go forward

Without feeling awkward?

Yes, I did, and I've grown.

From all, I've known.

Fran, you described “regret” so well in so few words. I wouldn’t have been able to do that. Well done.

Fran

This is a wonderful little poem.

It tells us how one can have a few regrets, but learn from them along life's journey.

Thankfully we can learn from those past mistakes.

Good job on this one.
