Ownership

be damned

one must own


Sun and Moon

married

friends to Sea


Beginning

Sky God

Snail Shell Earth


A Pigeon

and Hen

scattered land


High and low

Kola

Coconut


Molded Man

people

led more here


Witch decreed

word five

deadly word


But no food

famine

motivates


River house

humans

planted Yams


Specific

amount

animals


asked to count

one two

three four "five"


Man dinner

easy

thank you Witch


Guinea Fowl

one two

three four "boot"


"No! Not Boot!

Count five!"

then man died


Made mornings

dark times

and light times


Sought stories

lessons

for longer life

Very surreal and very interesting: I felt like I was riding on a train and the passing scenery were talking poetry with each new scene.

I'm not really sure what the poem ultimately means though. I think it might be telling us "Sound Mind in a Sound Body — and the rest will take care of itself!",
