Redeem Us
COME TO OUR RESCUE
From dawn to gloom
We watch for the day of atonement.
Seasons came, reasons same
Hear our outcry O savior
Bare, our livelihood in penury.
Till when will the sounds
Of the whisperers be heard,
The sounds of redemption
To strike and dispel
The gloom of doom
So the snarl-ups of grief and anguish
Heaped in our life be gone?
When will we tap our feet to the ground
Nod and sing to the sound;
The alleluia of our second being?
We will keep watch and pray
For the day of redemption.
