Privilege (what can i say?)

I'm a bluebird flying through the air
Instincts burning for food and survival
Can you blame me for concerning
With nothing other than what's natural?

I won't fly into your open window
Just so the roof caves in on us both
It already has on you too many times
The pain is all yours as is the hope

Another good thing is consciousness
You can't educate who says he knows
The golden rule is as old as love
Your reality is why Jesus rose

I flew into a window but it was closed
I could only see myself so I had to go
It hurt when I felt the glass inside of me
The mirror spared me no truth or blow

The sky I fly was always yours too
Some revelation, a gift of my entitlement
Take what you want, I tire of it anyway
Maybe you can tame what was violent
