Prayer to the Gods
Jon was full of life
He greets everyone with delight
You wouldn't see his actual fright
He wanted to die
He smiles with a lie
And every night he cries
A prayer to the Gods
He's tired of facing against all the odds
He used to be a man known of courage
Now he's a man of change
He laughs and jokes but that was an act
A Prayer to the Gods
Take heed in his prayer
Take a look at his despair
He kneel down to his dark room
with a little lamp and a paring knife
Praying to the Gods,
"save me, save me", he cries
And the lamp lights out.

There is only One God whom I pray to, and He answers my prayers, through Jesus Christ. I will pray for you, if you’d like.
Another powerful and deeply poignant poem.
Thank you for sharing your words with us.
I have another site, as well, where I, and my niece, write a lot about personal experiences with Narcissists.
