Poet's Prayer

Samuel Malik Canty: the Word Bird. I am the author of Five Poetry Books, I understand my Purpose, and my words are my proof...

poets-prayer

So many people are in need of prayer , so many…

War on every shore, death continually knocking on innocence doors…

Screaming eyes, screaming faces have been dominating; and drug use is going up, Suicides are going up, good decent people are giving up...

On my knees, standing up, these words pour out my soul because the world is aflame with anarchy, many people’s hearts are aflame with hatred and prejudice…

Since you are infinite and Omni Present please accept this poet’s prayer:

Stop them and show them how to live peacefully among themselves, as the earth was created for everyone...

Take arrogance out the heart and replace it with empathy instead of apathy...

Take the "Need to Rule" out of the mindset of those who clamor for war, of those who refuse to see the beauty in All the Races of Mankind...

Relieve those who have been burdened with unnecessary grief, poverty, racism and inferior feelings that have been passed down through generations...

Uplift the spirit of the people who believe there is no God that can save them from their generational plight, no God with enough power to stop their pain and subdue their enemies and tormentors...

Restore their faith and show them that the world was created for bliss and that you do hear the pleas of the sick, the tired, the poor, the abused, the war torn and the scorned...

Grant them a financial blessing of immense possibilities. Show them YOU are in charge and though they call you by Many Names, Your Favorite One is GOD...

Lift the Believers and take the false power away from the children of the Great Deceiver...

So many people need to see some kind of sign to release the stress of their mind...

This is a Poet's prayer written because humanity is unhealthy and pregnant with despair while the Devil seems to be everywhere...

Make Your Presence Felt...
