Poetry: Heaven

My name is Candice Ballinger and I am a Christian woman who loves Jesus and his word.

Heaven

Like flowers, we burst forth and bloom

and as the seasons pass by;

we soon wither and eventually die

to spend eternity in heaven,

or so if you chose in hell

but you have to make that decision,

it's really only up to you

the Lord is awaiting,

He wants your faith

and He wants your time,

because spending it with Him,

is the most important thing you will ever do,

His peace He will give unto you

but you need only to obey Him,

for the gateway to heaven;

will only be for but a few.

Effort

Living great;

with wisdom

takes time,

always seeking;

the Lord Himself,

relying on His strength

and His forgiveness;

takes faith and understanding

but not your own,

be holy and just

without blemish,

and without sinful rust.
