Poetry: Glory

My name is Candice Ballinger and I am a Christian woman who loves Jesus and his word.

I live in His light,

fighting everyday

believing in Him all the way,

pain leaves my mind;

when I think of you

Jesus is pluperfect

dressing me in white

as white as snow,

my sins have been cleansed

forever forgotten and hidden,

I am a new creation

reborn and given mercy,

He is all I need to succeed.

Beliefs

The pressures of today

shatter my peace

and tear at my mind,

closing in on my dreams

it chases away my beliefs

yet His kingdom forever reins,

my king is alive

He’s with the Father as we speak,

His glory is so reverberate

shining brighter than the sun,

it takes faith to move mountains

and a lot of love to build a saint.
