Happy ~ Acrostic Poem

Heartwarming moment
A feeling of joy
Pouring through your veins
Providing a smile
Yelling inside your heart.

The Key to Happiness

Everyone has a different fancy
when it comes to being happy,
for some it’s a delicious meal
that has us doing cartwheels.

For others, it’s a bouquet of roses
leaving us breathless
or creating a glimpse of heaven
using a paintbrush
that finds our perfect passion.

Or taking a walk
strolling down the sidewalk
at a snail’s pace
that makes our heart race,
bringing us immense pleasure
as we listen to the whispers of nature.

Each one holds a special key
that unlocks a hidden guarantee
letting us bask with joy
for each moment is ours to enjoy.

Happiness Tucked Away

Lost in the wilderness,
searching for a spark
to ignite his youthfulness.

He sees a squirrel
burying a nut,
reminding him to prepare
for days unplanned.

For times unexpected,
leaving him powerless,
showing him a reason to smile
in the darkness.

Happiness is a direction,

not a place.
