Poem for Peace

Peace can change our lives

Let Peace rise in our hearts

where rivers of living water flow

Let it become a part of our lives

a heavenly glow

Beams of Love and Peace they mingle

A place of rest wherever we go

Shining forth through our hearts to others

To Mothers fathers sisters and brothers

Unless we give all to change

Our attitudes will just remain

Frozen in the snow beneath

in solace and searing pain

On bended knee we come to Thee

Taking all our burdens

we are finally set free

from all the shackles, we are loosed

This is the time so let it be.
