Poem to Daniel Ortega
Daniel Ortega. You can't win.
You will rot in hell for killing innocent Nicaraguans.
You dirty scumbag. You have no moral compass.
Your Sandinista days are over.
Know this, I'm watching you like a hawk.
You've yanked your way against the grain for far too long.
Well, here's a proud Nicaraguan speaking to you.
I am but one of many who oppose your Sandinista movement.
You don't scare me. I'm the Ivan Brand.
You're just dust, dirt, mud and sand.
Your men have killed so many people in your country.
You make Donald Trump look like a walk in the park.
So, my final words of encouragement is this.
I hope you and your men go to jail.
Why I Wrote This Poem
Last month, Daniel Ortega changed the rules. No news outlets were to come to Nicaragua and all electricity would be out. I knew Daniel Ortega was bad, but not this bad. Peaceful protests tuned chaotic. Daniel opened a school where they were forced to march to his dictator music.
That only worsened the situation as many people were being killed after being taken to jail. Not only that, but Daniel and his army wanted to make sure that all Nicaraguans wear the mark of slavery on their shirts.
Things escalated from there. There were bombings and shootings and everything but the kitchen sink.
I am a proud Nicaraguan. Both the US and Nicaragua are in grave danger. Viva Nicaragua. Let Nicaraguans live. I am very disappointed that Daniel Ortega could do such a thing. In fact, I am mad.
So, that's it. That's why I made this poem.
