Poem: Time Passes

I am a writer. My passion is poetry. I feel words connect people together and help us to understand the feelings we share.

Poem Summary

Time passes is a poem about how everyday time keeps moving forward. People are bound for changes as moments fade leaving them with only a memory in a picture. Time passes in the blink of an eye but life can be beautiful if we are not blinded by the fast lanes.

"Time Passes"

Every moment
life passes,
people are bound for changes.

Every morning
when the sun is rising,
the human race begins.

Moments fade,
days we cherish
sit inside a picture.

Moments pass
in the blink of an eye,
the hands on the clock
keep ticking.

If we lift our eyelids
we can see the beauty of life,
if we are not blinded
by the fast lanes.

"Time Passes By" by Kathy Mattea

Time doesn't wait.

Indecision will only let opportunities slip away.

Pick a path and walk confidently with your heart behind every step.

I really love the way you bring out the truth that's hard to even confess to yourself..

.. Great work.
