She says to use 3 lines, with a total of 17 syllables.

She puts on a mask is about a woman who cannot stand to sit in the silence of the walls surrounding her with memories putting tears in her eyes. She grabs her keys and goes for a drive. She stops at a place where no one knows her name. She puts on her mask hiding her pain. Pretending she is fine.

"Change" is a poem which was written for billybuc's writing challenge. It compares the changing color of a tree's leaves to our own life cycle.  "Seasons change and so must we". Life hits her with a curve ball forcing her to move into a new home, something she thought was behind her.
