The devil loses is about her knowing he is her soulmate not realizing the devil sent him to break her heart. She endures heartache and pain. Then like a thief in the night he comes to her fulfilling her desires. The angels cast the devil back in his fiery pit blessing them with everlasting love.

In her mind’s eye
he is her soulmate,
an angel picked just for her,
the one she has dreamed about
since she was a little girl.

Little does she know
he was sent by the fallen angel
to break her heart,
to make her bitter,
to lead her life astray.
