Haiku challenge by Veronica McDonald

Once again Veronica McDonald has issued a writing challenge.
This one is to write Haiku. A fate I have never tried my hand at writing.
She says it is 3 lines, consisting of a total of 17 syllables.
Lines 1 to 3 contain 5 syllables - 7 syllables - 5 syllables

This is my second attempt.

"Winter Blues" is a poem about dreading winter before it actually arrives. Wishing for springtime instead. Her bones ache in pain as the temperature drops. Her mood disgruntled as she yearns for Spring.

The first demise of winter is about her waiting to see the first sign of Spring, the crocus bloom. Her mood is happier just thinking about the crocus peeping their little sprouts out from the ground. Actually emerging among the snow letting her know wintertime is leaving. Spring is on it's way.

The silence is a poem written in Haiku. It is about sitting inside a room alone. Nothing but the silence surrounding you. To find comfort one writes.

"Rainbow Creations" is my response for Word Prompts Help Creativity ~ Week 38 (Rainbows). In this one, I write about how rainbows affect us. This feeling seems to be universal. In the last poem, I had a bit of fun creating a rainbow for myself.

Angels come down is an Alphabet poem about angels coming down from heaven. They love mankind with no hatred. The angels answer all questions raised speaking in the native language of eastern jews.
