Poem: Sinful River

My name is Candice Ballinger and I am a Christian woman who loves Jesus and his word.

Sinful River

This river of sin, drips;

revealing my inner nature

ripping at my soul,

pressing down my sanity

lunging at my flaws,

His grace I must extol

remember my afflictions,

tell them of my bravery

show their prophecies to the door,

Yahweh Jireh is my provider

El Roi indeed, the one who sees me,

surely He will exalt me

revealing to all who I really am

and who He created me to be.

Oh lonely sinner, are you free?

Can you even really see?

Jehovah is calling for you,

listen to Him softly whisper

the Father gave you to Jesus,

no one comes to Him unless they are chosen,

rejoice that he is king

now you must know you are forgiven;

do not hide from your sins,

let Him cleanse you

bleaching you white as snow.
