Poem: Saved

My name is Candice Ballinger and I am a Christian woman who loves Jesus and his word.

Saved

When foundations break

and turmoil runs through the streets,

a time will come when Jesus will be near,

gathering his sheep;

separating them from the goats

where they will be thrown into utter darkness,

where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth,

but my God restores His children

He paid the price so you could be saved,

His gift of salvation is but one prayer away,

seek his face

and keep his commandments,

throw sin away,

give not into temptation

the Lord's strength will keep you safe.

Loyal

Be loyal and of good heart,

keep kindness stored deep within your soul,

depend on God;

not on your own understanding

for you know very little,

and the Lord knows all things

walk in faith,

tie a ribbon around your wrist to remind you,

remove even a finger to know it's true,

remember to live in faith

faith gives you eternity in the kingdom,

nothing can take this precious gift from your grasp,

let the father hold you close,

yes, this will please Him so,

pray for wisdom;

pray for those unsaved,

for the intentions of your heart,

Jesus already knows.
