Poem: Only A Tap Away

I am a writer. My passion is poetry. I feel words connect people together and help us to understand the feelings we share.

Poem Summary

Only a tap away is about connecting with others on cyber space. No matter what emotions you are feeling, there are others who feel the same way. Just a tap away and you can connect with others in a private group to chat.

"Anytime You Need A Friend" by Mariah Carey

Only A Tap Away

When moments take over and you feel abandoned,
cut off from the rest of the world,
isolated, alone by oneself
do not wallow in despair,
for every single emotion
can be found in cyber space.

Only a tap away
from your fingertips,
there is a world of understanding
awaiting you,
with private groups,
where you can chat
with others across the world.

Meet others who feel the same,
traveling down the same path,
heartbroken, lost and alone,
shedding tears of happiness, joy, love,
heartache and misfortune.

In moments of struggle
with no one to share your thoughts,
reach out with only a tap
connecting with others,
before you drown in sorrow
hiding all alone.

I think we all have moments we feel like this...I know that I have.

I am glad to hear you believe I got the message out there...now if only one can remember to do this...sometimes it's hard.

This poem was me Brenda.

You put the message out there perfectly in this poem.
