Poem: Nervous Feeling

I am a writer. My passion is poetry. I feel words connect people together and help us to understand the feelings we share.

Poem Summary

Nervous feeling is a poem about her feeling a twisted bundle of knots in her stomach. She lingers in pain feeling like she is walking on egg shells. She worries about every detail in her life. She is hoping this agony will disappear soon.

"Nervous Feeling"

She feels
a twisted ball of knots
bundling in the pit of her stomach,
like a nervous twitch
lingering in pain.

Like she is constantly
walking on egg shells,
worrying about every detail
of her life,
without answers.

This affliction feels so real,
she suffers in agony
searching for relief
hoping it will disappear.
