Poem: Nervous Feeling

I am a writer. My passion is poetry. I feel words connect people together and help us to understand the feelings we share.

"Nervous Feeling"

She feels
a twisted ball of knots
bundling in the pit of her stomach,
like a nervous twitch
lingering in pain.

Like she is constantly
walking on egg shells,
worrying about every detail
of her life,
without answers.

This affliction feels so real,
she suffers in agony
searching for relief
hoping it will disappear.
