I am a writer. My passion is poetry. I feel words connect people together and help us to understand the feelings we share.
Missing you everday is a poem that describes the feeling of losing someone you love dearly. It is a constant, silent struggle. We are left in despair huding the pain we feel. Suffering in silence.
"Missing You" by John Waite
Missing You Everyday
It is hard to imagine
you not being here,
no longer hearing your voice,
seeing you smile
or touching your hand.
Sometimes, life seems cruel
when it takes away the one’s we love so dearly,
leaving an empty feeling in our hearts
for the remainder of our days.
Showing us a love so kind and gentle
that takes our breathe away,
consuming our every thought and desire
only to leave us in despair,
as we hide the pain, suffering in silence.
